FAREWELL AND THANKS FOR ALL THE SHEEP
In the land of the sun, people come and go. Clothes, however, outlive us by at least 200 years, piling up in the desert, forgotten, discarded, abandoned. Between rolls of cloth and toxic dyes, the factory hums, the people shop, and the market counts its money, while a young daughter yearns for her mother.
We put fashion’s dirty secrets through a not-so delicate wash. Sheep talk about their wildest dreams and we are left wondering if Green can ever truly be in fashion. In this bold ensemble piece we weave true facts together with a fantastical landscape of imagery, text and live sound.
